Re: Asides sanding...how to improve this?
In the cases like this, I take a deep breath and print at 0.05-0.06mm. Using ABS instead of PLA also improves the surface quality quite considerably for surfaces like this. You know all that stuff, don't you?

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
The Cuddling Cats proved to be a huge hit. I printed them into hundreds already, and on every lecture/meeting/workshop they run away like... a bunch of cats - very popular. They are also cost effective - consume very little plastic to make. At .1mm layer, each takes about 45 min. Another very popula...

Re: Best wood-fill filament?
I used only .4 nozzle. Up the temperature and enjoy the smell of burnt wood. Other than that, no issues.

I only used ColorFabb and it was fairly straightforward. No issues I can think of.

Re: Dead UM2 after short circuiting fan wires
Thanks for posting! I can't really do much diagnostics by myself, having only a standard multimeter at my disposal. This device shows correct voltages everywhere. No Arduino around and since Cura did upload the firmware via "custom" mode, it should be OK, no? The board looks OK. The printe...

Dead UM2 after short circuiting fan wires
Hi guys, Although I do not write here much, I still read and enjoy the forum since the very beginning. Right now, I'm stuck with my head in a dead wall (dead UM2 wall it is) and desperately need guidance. Full description of the problem is here , on the UM forum. A few people there tried to help, es...

Re: 1000+ posts in 16 days
It actually makes me very sad. These 1000+ posts are the net loss of the UM forum which is in the desperate need of a total re-design. And a totally new approach. But the UM seem to be focused to go the Nokia way...
