Next, when copying my own printer dual UMO profile in and selecting it, it crashes again. I created a new issue incl....

Re: Marlin 1.1 is out!
jupp - there seems to be a lot of reork in it - especially compared with the "old" release. Downloaded it, but not uploaded/tested it up to now on my UMO. From my point of view, one key feature is still missing: move away the printhead when klicking on "stop" in menue.. But a beh...

Re: Best wood-fill filament?
I never had a clog with it and I only have 0,4mm nozzles in use (too lazy to switch at my UMO). I recently tried the woodgrain postprocessor but decided to not use is as the effect is not so "realistic"...

true - in office, there is a shaft from an UM2 somewhere laying around - replaced when the upgrade kit has been mounted. It's whiggling when rolled over a glass plate...Neotko wrote:... Shafts etc are better at igus/misumi

Re: Why the UMO has fans on electronics?
I already tried several fans, shrouds and blowers but found nothing real suitable and silent. bought 24v as well as 12v, modding parts and standard mouser stuff - over all 4 blowers and 3 fans...
if somebody finds a good and silent replacement - best just a drop in part, keep me informed
