Carbon M1 on Tested
Sort of an SLA printer but they've optimised the process not to need a swipe after each layer and allow for much faster printing by using a projector. Seems they have special resins as well, both 1 and 2 stages, to determine the mechanical properties. According to their claim the pieces are producti...

There is a generic section about reprap printers that can be used for discussions like that. Would be nice to see the progress you're making

Re: Show off My latest Print
With the adjustable belt grip, wouldn't you have to start out with the blocks out of the print head as far as possible? When you tighten the screws because the belt has slack, they should be turned back in to the head, no? :) In any case: You made me curious. Why not start a new topic specifically a...

Re: Peachy Printer...
I've backed 80 projects to date and most of them have delivered. I do notice a trend with the more complex technical items lately though. It seems that the people don't do enough research in advance for larger quantities and so on (or enough research tout court). I won't back a project anymore unles...

Re: Super hard nozzles - Test pilots
I have had several such ruby-popping incidents with previous prototypes by the way, even figured out a method of getting the ruby clean enough to reuse it :-) Completely useless reaction but... I actually read "pooping incidents" and shortly thought that would be an awesome, yet painful s...

Re: Allforge "exactly what your family needs"
In the entire time I've had my 3D printer (almost 2 years now) I've had to serial-produce exactly once. So I can't see any use for it in my case.
That being said, I am curious about peoples experiences with it, so as Izzy said, please keep us informed.

For me it changes as well... Now my laptop remains logged in but it's my desktop that is regularly logged out. It's a bit of a mystery
