Re: Repair or replace clogged nozzle?

Have never changed out the Hot-ends on my 3D Printers, though sure other have done more in this area than myself. I find myself needing more Z-Axis height for upcoming projects. My next project will be to increase Z-Axis height to ~300mm. Mostly updated my Hictops to look professional, and printed a...

Re: Hictop Controllers

It appears that the SS signal moves over to a R96 label with no resistor routed to the EXP2 connector side. The other Side of the R96 label travels to two points Pin 5 of 74HC4050 Buffer and Pin 19 of the ATMEGA2560-16AU chip. Without a jumper on R96 the signal never gets to the EXP2 connector. Look...

Re: Repair or replace clogged nozzle?

Noticed you are using multiple passes of Blue tape . I have been using vinyl transfer paper tape, reason behind mentioning this is because it comes in many different widths. T1.jpg As you can see in this image one pass completely covers the Hot-Bed. Forgive the blurry image taken during Print. You m...

Re: Repair or replace clogged nozzle?

I have said this before though it deserves to be repeated. When flashing firmware for any 3D Printer make sure you have a backup for the unit being flashed. HICTOP firmware backups are located here Under Resources > Firmware then select your 3D Printer. As companies do go out of business download yo...

Re: Hictop 3dp-12 help

All you have to do is post what you are having problems with, I will look at every post on this forum. Though My strongest experience is with the Hictop 3D Printers. I stopped using the SN04-N. I started using this TL-W3MC2 because could mount it 20mm directly behind the nozzle. All STL file I have ...

Re: Marlin 2.0.6

Well if it was smart enough to detect that a new firmware was present.
Why does it not have a single Reload button to reload and save the new Firmware's configuration.

Still Have to send M502 and M500

Re: Ender 3 Pro Firmware Reset

SD cards need to be formatted in FAT16 or FAT32. Most PCs default to EXFAT or NTFS.

I use only SD card format programs to ensure compatibility.

Marlin 2.0.3

Yesterday I was trying to Level my Bed on my Marlin 2.0.3 only to find that one of my 3D Printers firmware was incorrectly configured. Yes I had made a mistake in configuring the Bi-linear Bed leveling. I have been using the 3D Printer with this firmware perfectly and have never noticed that the bed...
