Re: Can't print unless on a raft
Looking at you image of a printed model.
I see that you are starting your print too high above the bed, when you start printing at the correct height you will get a better printed model.

Re: Printer Globbing when Extruder at a Stand-still
I would be interested in seeing what slicer and the slicers settings, along with what material you are 3D Printing. It may also be of use to have a small model printed record video then post so we can see what it is doing. Personal I upload my videos on to You-Tube then post the link here, shown bel...

Re: Best budget 3D Printer ?
GrueMaster has a Hictop 3DP17 I believe he would be willing to part with.
I believe he said it would require a little adjusting and cleaning.
I though about it for myself however already Have two, a 3DP11 and a 3DP12 that have been both been upgraded to the same as a 3DP17.

Completely off Topic today
This weekend I will be tearing out the dinning room carpet, and replacing it with lament flooring. Will also be repairing the composition roofing, over the last few winters a few roofing tab have broken off. And I need to replace the bathroom roof vent as when it was installed it was done as a tempo...

I ask she said it was OK for me to { Post } As she was going to use what I 3D Printed for a Molding part. Attached are the 3 Pieces of the Light Saber Shelf Molding Part. The STL files are a fraction of the actual size, I expanded to the Max my 3D Printer would print for this customer. Shelf.jpg Hav...

Re: What's everyone working on
I am working on a 3 piece light saber shelf. My neighbor approached me and ask if I could design a light saber shelf that she could use as a mold. She will use the mold to be able to create many clear shelves, being clear she can then add glitter, sparkles, beads, stars or many other decorations. As...

Re: What's everyone working on
I designed a have been running a filament run-out sensor about 2 years ago. http://www.3dprintingforum.us/viewtopic.php?p=11290#p11290 I designed a small housing to allow for a blade switch that can to tripped by inserting the filament. In pins changed the filament run-out sensor pin to a unused end...

Re: 1st 3D Printer: Prusa i3 MK3s vs Dremel 3D45
Never had a Dremel!
Have two Prusa's Clones that I like very much, though they do not build them any more so cannot send you in that direction...
I would point you in the direction of the Prusa I3 MK3s though.

Re: What's everyone working on
I have received parts to allow me to drive two A4988 driver modules with my Arduino Mega2560. My MPCNC uses X and E0 for the Dual X axis stepper motors and Y and E1 for the Dual Y axis stepper motors. This hopefully will allow me to upgrade my MPCNC to have a dual X and dual Y axis A4988 driver modu...
