Is the Z limit switch always engaged (i.e. when Z=10mm)? It's possible that your limit switch or the circuit on the motherboard is faulty. I checked your model on my system (same Cura), and the only way to get it to do what you are saying is if I have Spiralize Outer Contour enabled under Special Modes. Check that setting.

Well, I added a suggestion and he ran with it. New update released this morning. I've loaded it on my printers, and since they will be idle for the next few days, this will be a decent test to see if there is improvement.

I think both of these issues are likely related (and can be easily fixed) to your firmware configuration.h file.

I think I see the problem. Your screen shot indicates you have an M3D printer. I think this has its own custom fan gcodes.
