Re: Octoprint Anywhere Plugin
I think the problem is that the way the site works is it needs the steady stream to be active. I had read the bug report, and there isn't much more I could add that hasn't already been stated, other than to show data that verifies large amounts of TX traffic (which they already know). I can't prove ...

Re: Octoprint Anywhere Plugin
I noticed that too. My firewall connection graph is parallel for up and down. Killing the plugin for now.

Re: 3DFuel PLA
That's easy. It is this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2446648. No special settings (draft mode 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill).

Re: 3DFuel PLA
Ok, time to revisit this thread. The last time I used this filament was in the print above, and that was a long time ago. I just finished printing a headphone stand to take to work, and other than Octoprint crashing with less than 40 minutes left (recovered - mostly), it looks better than awesome! 2...

Re: Octoprint Anywhere Plugin
Mixed results. I just had Octoprint crash 40 minutes from finishing a 14 hour print (of course, using my most expensive coffee PLA). I think I recovered, mostly, but it was painful. The printer at least showed the XYZ coordinates where it stopped. Octoprint web interface was frozen since early this ...

Seems a shame.
All that empty basement space I mean. You should fill it with printers.
Seriously, you can make a nice recording studio there for your video tutorials, etc.

Just don't whip out the Betamax, 8-track, or Laser Discs, old man.

Re: Spontaneous axis reversal
Yes, it does (if you enable it). Miss that interface, but at least setting up and using Octoprint gives me back some direct control again.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
My FT job has been going through a lot of reorgs and turmoil (for me). I was offered a position with a former manager 2 weeks ago, which I accepted just to get out of my current rut. I officially cut over today. However, Tuesday, I found out that she is moving on, and her team (me included) are bein...

Re: Underside overhanging area with supports
Well, the customer was apparently satisfied. I received a 5 star rating, and will get $9 paid to my paypal account.
Not sure I'm ready to quit my $94k/year job, but it is a start.

Re: Cura 3.2 is now out
Try it on the CR-10 (unless you have a form2 - I forgot what all you have). I haven't tried this particular print yet. Maybe this weekend. I have done some other prints with fine detail though.

Re: Cura 3.2 is now out
Try the new tree feature. Note that it conflicts with supports (either/or/none, not both settings). I actually like it, as they are easier to remove from the object.
Note that I have only printed once with the new beta release. Just downloaded the final 3.2.

Which version of Cura are you using? What are the settings for wall thickness? Is there a link for the STL file?

Re: Underside overhanging area with supports
Looking at layer view, it looks like Cura is having issues with the underside.
I'll keep messing with it.

Underside overhanging area with supports
This print was very tough on my CR-10S. I can't share the STL here because I don't know the origin (commissioned off of Print a Thing ). Both were printed with 0.1mm layer height. First one (right) at profile speed (60mm/s) using Cura 3.0.4 and supports, which were a beast to remove. The second (lef...
