Re: Cura Feature request: Infill Height

Apparently this is already in cura: https://ultimaker.com/en/community/3661 ... e=1#unread

Neotko, I have S3D too, I'd be curious to hear about the settings and tweaks you used :)

Cura Feature request: Infill Height

Hi, I was thinking the following: Say I have a 0.4mm nozzle and I want to print layers at 0.1mm because I want to give my print a "nice look". This however comes at the price of print strenght, as 0.3mm layers are stronger. So what about having an "Infill Height" value that could...

Re: A bit of BB-8 progress

Here's my source on Cubic infill, which was ported back in UM Cura after I made a post on this on this forum :)

Re: A bit of BB-8 progress

I thought "cubic" was stronger than "triangle" as an infill due it's 3D structure.
Do you have any further documentation/comparison between the two?

Re: UMO / UMO+ Firmware

I now finished the bed leveling routine! This adds an extra menu item in the Prepare menu and allows the user to adjust the bed level in 3 points (just like Cura's routine when connecting the machine via USB). You can find the changes here: https://github.com/Antiklesys/Marlin-1/commit/f54abde73c1de...

Re: Filament joiner

I have a 12V PSU and a Ramps board I could use to have this working.
The temperature could then be controlled directly by Marlin running on the Ramps.
What I miss is the aluminum block... :/

Re: UMO / UMO+ Firmware

Just added the support for UMO2 Style Z end-stop as per Neotko's mod: https://ultimaker.com/en/community/22120-idea-new-location-for-z-limit-on-umo This can be enabled in configuration.h by uncommenting //#define UMO_BOTTOM_Z_STOP_MOD Changes can be found at: https://github.com/Antiklesys/Marlin-1/c...

Hi, I decided to post this print as this probably is the largest and longest series of prints I probably did with my UMO. I have already glued together some pieces and I will need to continue the gluing process as well as the sanding one. Will try to keep this post updated aswell with the post proce...

I also added a few lines of code to automatically hide system folders and hidden files on SD cards.
