Smilies are a bit overdone Paul
Pffft, my day has been a disaster. When trying to level my bed, I couldn't get Cura to talk to my Arduino. That was 4 hours ago, still nowhere near.
Edit: fixed it:

Re: Hand cranked Heart gears
Didn't disassemble everything, but I don't see any leaking going on. Currently trying to connect over USB to level/firmware reset/update. But my PC recognizes an Arduino, but my UM doesn't do the connect routine?

Re: Hand cranked Heart gears
Tried to print with white: First strange thing I notice again is that when printing 2 at the same time, the second one has a worse bottom(and perhaps also higher) layer quality. I have to relevel the bed anyway, but it's pretty clear that something causes underextrusion on the second one: http://i.i...

Re: Hand cranked Heart gears
Could it be my bed temperature 55C that causes the strange walls on the overhanging gears? I'm throwing in a trusty white colorfabb PLA now to see if that prints better.

A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
With a smile at the original @UMforums, come in, have some tea, and tell us about your day! I'm currently trying to print the heart gear hand crank for valentine: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:253934 Some of you might have seen my cry for help @UMforum. I've been using that feedback now to try to...

Re: Super hard nozzles - Test pilots
Okay, I will see if I can make one for you, still have parts for a few more. Neotko has unsuccessfully tried to destroy this kind of nozzle with carbon filled filament, not a single scratch on it after printing a kilo :) Don't go through a lot of effort! Only if you want someone to test it on an UM...

I do! Damn, oh wait, I figured it out, when editting posts I don't. Not the most needed feature.

Re: Super hard nozzles - Test pilots
Wow that's pretty cool! They fit in UMO's too right? Is that an insert of another material? Curious what it is!
I'm not printing so much as others here, but glowfill/bronzefill seem to destroy nozzles indeed. Got some Carbonfill to try out.
Let me know if you want someone to test it on an UMO

Is it possible in the full editor/preview window, to see previous posts underneath?

Re: Reasons for starting a new Ultimaker forum
I would not mind if this forum was more into the technical/hacking/professional use, as Ultimakers official forum has become more of a support forum for beginners. One would potentially have a bit more freedom to discuss rumors about future Ultimaker machines and such things here, without risking t...
