Re: Anycubic Photon S - Nothing Printing

What make of resin are you using. I found the Anycubic had a few problems and switched to Elegoo ABS like, now I get better prints.
Can you post some photos of the failed prints. Also can you do a screen shot of the part in the slicer software with supports.

Re: Bottom layer gaps

If I have any problems like this I change the nozzle as it may be blocked. It solves most of the problems.

Re: Stinging

Thanks, the STL file is about. I've been trying different things, like retraction setting, I did 10 towers, 2 failed. I put a post on the Cura Community Forum, but haven't got an answer yet. I don't have a complete Prusa profile as I don't have everything set up. Here is the Cura profile if it's any...

Re: Stinging

I got to the stage that I sliced the part, but it looked the same as Cura with stringing in the middle.
I'm trying various options and I'll let you know how I get on.

Re: Stinging

Thanks for the advice Roberts_Cliff. But I looked at Prusaslicer and it may be very powerful but it doesn't even have my printer in it, I would have to manually input all of it's info. I could do that but I wouldn't know where to start with setting it up, never mind finding a way to stop it printing...

Re: Stinging

Thanks LePaul.
I'll do the tests and see how they go.
One thing.
I can't have any stringing on the inside as it will be a long tapered tube that fits over something. It will be impossible to remove any internal stringing.
That's why I want to eliminate any internal travel of the nozzle.

Re: Stinging

Thanks for the advice Roberts_Cliff. I use Prusa slicer for my resin printer, but never used it for the FDM. Do you know if it's possible to have 2 types of printer so I can switch between the 2, I don't want to screw up what I have set up for the Resin printer. Or can I have 2 versions on the same ...

Re: 0.6mm Nozzle

That looks cool. Are they hard to fly, I suppose I should ask about landing them.
It's amazing how many things have changed because of the way batteries are developing, no more petrol engines.

Re: 0.6mm Nozzle

I'm writing this on my laptop that has window 10. I know I can put it on this. As I'm not printing anything at the moment I'm just waiting. It's summer here and very hot 35°C during the day one day 43!, hottest we have had, so I don't feel like doing a lot at the moment, just lazing around. As soon ...
