Re: Anyone tried Proto-Pasta HTPLA Carbon Fibre V2.0?

I've not tried their Carbon fibre version but their normal HTPLA is nice to use, with just a small sample the normal nozzle shouldn't wear, but would be better if you had a Ruby.

Re: Has anyone used nGen_FLEX yet?

I had a small sample and it was quite nice a bit like polymaker poly Flex, I dint have enough of a sample to do a full set of test pieces though.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

there was a post on thingeverse # 2298799 where they have generated a STL model of the Wanhao Di3plus to import into S3D so that you get a visual of the bed etc, i tried it and it was great, ideal for Sues Wanhao, but then i got thinking about doing the same for the UM2. So using the Github files an...

Cheers, didn't realise it was on the UMO, I can see Gudo's fan duct too looks like they use blower fans, I may have to alter my design to blowers too.

Re: Extrudr PLA Tec Black

Nilrog, can you show some photos of your bed stabiliser,
I did print and fit one a few months ago but removed it after the first test as it collided with the print head home position, it may be I need a slight redesign of my fan ducts.

Re: White shows everything!

When swapping filaments, types and colours, only several atomic pulls get rid of all the old filament.
I was testing a Carbon fibre filament and it took 19, yes that's 19 atomic pulls with white filament until I was sure there was no Black coming through.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

You will have to reprint it then  I want to try out my 0.1mm Nozzle when I have finished off my Braq dragon at 50%. I may try printing the Braq with the 0.1 nozzle, but I don't think I can find elastic cord small enough to assemble it, I may just have to glue it together as a fixed position, or...

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day

Hi Paul,
The material is FilaPrint Premium PLA Bronze Gold, availabe from 3DFilaPrint, they do international shipping, it's a great PLA at a low price. Printing some great results, I want to try my very small nozzles with it next.
The model was on MyMiniFactory, supposedly its more detailed.
