Re: Ultimaker Original+ Extended custom build at Stockholm Makerspace
@Neotko, yes, I agree high temp can be a problem -- as it was on the UM2 before the Olsson block... I actually would be more inclined to mount an E3D for high temp (I have a new one in my drawner for ages  ) @LePaul Temperature should not be a problem for the XT-CF20, but I hope you have spare...

Re: Testing Like Post
I think both 'rating' options should go away -- we don't care about rating, we just want to say thank you
(Would have to look at the source code to be sure, but from that screen this is my understanding)

Re: Ultimaker Original+ Extended custom build at Stockholm Makerspace
This post and the anders olsson 290C just made my jump shark and bough some um2 parts to change the hotend of my umo+. That little um2 hotend looks so small cniw that I see it on the wooden frame. I am not sure to understand to which extend an UM2 hotend is better than an UMO one -- from what I hav...

Re: Infill extrusion width
While we are at questions, I have a dumb one -- I don't have S3D and it is not clear from your post:
Is the extrusion width only changed for the infill or for the whole part?

Re: SpaceClaim
Well, technical engineering is pretty much windows only anyways. (Please don't kill me for saying that :P) No reason to kill for that -- that I like it or not, it is a fact. Although it is mainly historical. Most Autodesk products are now available on Mac as well, Dassault new products are coming o...

Also with the attachment functionality: Can you make the pictures open in a new tab by default? I don't like pages which decides for me that they need another tab, I want as user to decide myself ;-) Having said that, I understand the annoyance, but maybe it is better to install the Lightbox extens...

Re: Testing Like Post
The rating thing is a bi weird though -- I just liked the last post , and the like rating dropped on the others. It seems that the post with most likes gets 100%, and the others a pro-rata -> Max is 3 -> 100% -> post with 2 likes -> 66% -> post with & like -> 33% In my view it does not add any v...

UMO / UMO+ Firmware
In case somebody is interested I 'maintain' an 'alternative' firmware for UMO/UMO+ I say 'maintain' between quotes as I don't really make new developments on this, but it is what I use on my UMOs and I am sharing it -- so don't expect miracles here ;) It is based on the latest official UMO firmware ...

Thank you! And, from my side it does not make any difference. Since they decided to go for that community thing, I am only visiting their site when someone quotes me in a post, and I will continue to do so... I see a lot of forums moving into 'something else' because they see erosion coming for soci...
