Re: Super hard nozzles - Test pilots
I find the price quite ok, but ofc just because my other filaments are faberdashery XD. 1.1kg per roll and prints really nice imo. The multicolored ones are just pla no greentec bdp. For example the ngen fan cap I printed damaged and curved after a few months but the greentec still conserves the or...

Re: Dimensions of the heater fastening screw and washer on the block?
personaly I use a 3mm ID x 6 mm OD x 0.3 mm special round washer it works as well with no risk to mark/deform the sensor housing, I experienced that by damaging one temp sensor because of a small over tightening with the original washer. The sensors have tendency to stay in place by only their wires...

Does anybody have a source for good hardware in EU?
Don't answer Misumi -- they don't sell to individuals so I can't order from them...

Re: PTFE coupler - Theory and practical details
I not even take into account the ruby nozzle ... in the printing of thermoplastics I do not see the use of nozzles Sapphire / Ruby, and certainly not for the cost since the synthetic rubies cost nothing (more than anything else could be costly one initial investment to get a custom made ruby) nor f...

Re: UM2 print head project
I´m currently thinking how to change the UMO head design completely... so also my PBI parts design might change... Gudo, do you think that the stainless steel/PTFE parts of the core could be made of PBI too? I have not ordered up to now but this might be a possibility to get down with the costs... ...

Re: UM2 print head project
Hi Drayson Yes it's very very expensive  as I said 12.7mm rod would be sufficient & less expensive, if you really want test, purchase it ! I'll redeem you the rest ;-) @ Gudo, Sorry, overlooked your post/offer. Yes, would be a possibility, but currently I´m looking for somebody who is ...

Re: UM2 print head project
Thank you! I found there a note - do you think this is relevant? "Components rapidly exposed to temperatures above 400°F (205°C) should be "dried" prior to use or kept dry to avoid deformation from thermal shock." Hi ! I saw this note, I think it concerns cases of storage or use...

Hi to all Hi Anders Yesterday I tested at 0.5 scaled the Yoda print with PLA ( https://www.youmagine.com/designs/oh-no-more-yoda-by-dizingof ) with a ton of retractations, the feeder works as a machine gun ! 205°Temp 0.1 mm layers 80 mm/s print speed 220 mm/s travel speed 1.8 mm retractation at 40 m...

Releasing production drawings would imho be a crazy move business wise... It would only help a very select few users, and the ones that would be jumping up and down of happiness would be a bunch of asian clone manufacturers who do not care at all about licenses and -NC clauses but only about sellin...
