Dim3nsioneer is right. LetsEncrypt provides TLS certs for free and is easy to integrate into an Apache. There is no excuse anymore to not use it :-)

It is fun. I am active in the one in my hometown near Stuttgart. We meet once a month to help people that come with their items. It is amazing what people bring and what percentage can still be repaired. On some events we had auccess rates of over 70%! Götteborg is a little too far to travel with a ...

I mean, really, what the heck kind of response is that? ?

How many people design the pieces they print? 1%? 2%?
Sorry that my answer offended you, but I design most of the parts that I print myself or at least modify them myself before printing them!

Re: Measure in STL files

I have downloaded the free for home use version of Autodesk Netfabb and it's measuring capabilities seem to be what I need. They could be a little bit more intuitive, but I think that goes for the whole Netfabb ;-)

Measure in STL files

Every time I need modify 3D models where I only have STL files, I find it extremely difficult to "measure" stuff like distances and angles. If I import the STL in Fusion 360, I can use Inspect but it does not really "snap" to the right places and so I get very unreliable measurements. Is there a too...

Re: Issues with print job when retracting.

Since you mention that the printer hasn't been used for a longer time: Has the filament been stored dry? Maybe you have moisture in your filament and that produces these extrusion issues. Gently drying the filament could help then.
