Re: New resin printer

My concern all along has been the fumes and the fact people are just dumping hazardous waste down the drain once they finishing processing their prints I've seen some newer resins that are water washable....no need for alcohol. I'd like to try one to make things like part cooling fan ducts....small,...

Re: OctoPi produces weak prints

The right power supply would make some sense.

I know I bought my Raspberry Pi 3's as a bundle with SD and approved power supply
Here's the one I bought several of and suggest to others looking to get into Octoprint

Re: Where Do I Start?

Remember that with Octoprint/Raspberry Pi/USB connections, most 8 bit boards struggle to keep up with the data sent to them. Their IO just isn't that powerful. I print slower (40 mm/s) with Octoprint and quicker with SD Card. I asked about this last year on the Octoprint forum and got some really de...

Re: ColorFabb XT-CF20 Carbon Fiber Filament

I'd be curious of the wear on your extruder gear I haven't used the material on my CR-10S's simply because I only have the 2.85mm version of the material on hand. Have you done a lot of small test prints to dial in the material? I had to, in order to find the right temperature range. It's a mess on ...

Re: Anyone with an M3D printer?

The UM2Go has always been one of those little printers I would have like to have had. I honestly have no use for it but with the Ultimaker build quality, it would certainly do some good prints

Re: MAXTEMP BED Error

We had a board do this recently on a CR-10S 500 at work. We thought it might be a bad thermosistor then the bed temp started reading wrong too.

New board was the only real solution. I was surprised the board had to go but something on it just isn't right.

Re: Creality CR-10 S4 or Ender-5 Plus, Which To Get?

I suggest people learn on something smaller or well known...like a CR-10S. Get the hang of using the slicer, printing and then as you gain experience , then move on to something larger
