I highly doubt that you would be able to find a 250gm yellow PLA. Considering 1kg yellow PLA would cost something like CAD 5 -6 https://www.mechestore.com/products/cctree-pla-filament-yellow?variant=7515444150319 here in Canada and you won't get free shipping with that. So it wouldn't cost you anyth...

You have to check your filament Tension may be the wavy pattern is due to the movement of the filament spool while unrolling or with too much tension or Another idea is to check your filament tension.

It may happen if the Filament height and width varies across the build surface.
