Re: Best wood-fill filament?
I only use Colorfabb and that clogs with a 0.4 nozzle. Bigger nozzles print just as nice (and faster) because the fibers hide the layers.

Re: Primer for new Ultimaker 3 users?
no big deal, just follow the instructions, update to the last firmware and use the default settings.
Just take care of the PVA with humidity, store it in the right way.

Re: A Tea between friends :-) How was Your Day
@Meduza, yes, it is working well, though you have to take care that there are no big lumps of plastic between the pellets otherwise the extruder skips and you get immediate under extrusion. We did not try to recycle the failed prints (and there are a lot of them) only the pellets that we got. This b...

Playing with a 3mtr high WASP delta printer, nozzle dia. 3mm with up cycled PLA pellets. Printsize is 100cm. diameter and 110cm high as max. Did a renovation model for a few missing roof towers of an old monastery in France for a friend who is a ceramist and is going to live and work there. The info...

Re: Z-axix linear bearings
I guess so, I think all the issues are related to the z-nut: if there is no play in your z, the bearings have to come along, good or bad.
If your bearings are good, the z-nut has less influence. When both are bad: you're in trouble...

Re: Z-axix linear bearings
On the UM2Go it was a pain to disassemble the parts, everything is so tiny in there, to get the electronics board out you need short and tiny equipment because no screwdriver fits underneath the print bed. And I've done this about 10 times, first trying to clean the bearings several times and testin...

Re: nGen ?
It had to do with the change from XT to PLA, the red prints very good normally.
This is not Paul's problem, but the effect of unstable layers sounded familiar.

Re: nGen ?
I remember having a similar situation, but with the transition from clear XT to PLA. After changing filament to PLA (red) the print would come apart real easy. Out of the printer they looked fine but putting some pressure on them delaminated them. Changing from red PLA to black PLA the issue was gon...
