Re: Looking for help with older Cura version (15.04) and starting gcode.
I don't really know how those replace tags work, but most of the start g-codes use {print_temperature}
As far as I know, these tags were replaced by the legacy front-end, not the engine. So i guess those tags don't work if you are just using the legacy engine.

Re: 3.2 Beta is out!
Because the plugin is not maintained by us. This is why it's moved to the plugin browser. We're working on making this distinction clearer, as we would get a lot of support requests regarding the plugin.
It does have some benefits, as it's possible to provide in between updates for plugins.

Re: 3.2 Beta is out!
It still bombs out at the same point - changing the color for my Aqua Blue Glow filament to a light blue color. No idea why. Other filaments can accept that color. Very weird. And yes, I have a bug filed on this since 2.6. Could you post the logs? I'm not directly on the Cura team anymore, but i mi...

Cura should auto detect it. But i would not recommend printing directly from USB.

I don't know anything about how Octoprint does what it does, sorry. Web development isn't my cup of tea.

Re: Cura 3.0.4, Linux, and Post Processing scripts
Or you wait until next release where it also checks a second location for scripts, which is outside of the app image. Someone made a pull request for it. So yay for OS development.

I doubt that; only the graphics driver was changed. But the usual still holds; people need to share logs

If people propose design changes, they will be taken into account. Open source doesn't just mean we only want software engineers working with us

That and most companies don't care about support; they just print with PVA.

Re: Cura 3.0 beta
The next release is probably going to have setting visibility preferences. That will probably fix the issue; We can then add a "basic", "Advanced" & "Expert" list of settings to be visible.
