Re: Dual pro head from Zmorph

Guys, I'm still alive :-) but as I need to get all the crazy stuff done my pregnent wife wants, I'm not so much here any more :-( The DXU is really nice but 1,75mm so I would not change to it as of my filament stock. beside this, the UM3 design approach is great. I already found some UM3 parts on al...

Re: CNC - Router / Engraver

I used for mine a simple arduino nano and GRBL firmware.
There are ways to make it work with RAMPS too - see https://github.com/CarlosGS/grblForCyclone

Re: Quiet 3D printer

You could also use the TMC 2100 - at my UMO just a pick n place without big hurdles. Firmware needs to be tweaked a bit too, but my master sgt. is now quite (!) happy with the noise out of my office... Oh wow....I mean the UMO can HOWL with those wooden box acoustics. When I had mine doing long pri...

UM2 PTFE fit in stainless steel part

Hi guys, currently I'm in a project to update my beloved UMO with a (chinese) UM2 head. Decided to go this cheaper way as it is just a proof of concept for a dual nozzle setup with some specialities... :-) Dont want to machine and play around on original parts in several iterations and destroy money...

Re: I wrote a bloat-free STL viewer

I have actually written a STL thumbnail handler – it’s as lean and fast as my viewer, and I’d *love* to distribute it! However, I wrote it for my company and I’ll need my bosses’ permission. That’ll take a while, I’m afraid :( Whooo... that would be great! have the same issue as jonny... please kee...
