Re: The Flex3Drive
in no way did I try to take credit for any of the awesome work Jason has done to the Flex3drive. I merely tried to explain what I did with Ultimaker and provide some context behind some of the stuff that has my name on it. In no reason did I want to take credit for anything that MTVNDA is using nor ...

Re: Quality control
This poor guy.... see this thread I'm in so much doubt right now.. Either he is the unluckiest person ever or something else is going on.. I have 5 of these bad boys.. 1 from the first batch, then 4 from the normal batch.. if he gets 3 printers that all have a major defect.. I should have at least ...

Re: Crappppp Ultimaker 2+ feeder
Izzy; i've created a new bracket for the BondTech Feeder. you can just use 2 longer M3 screws on the top, it bolts right on the back, the feeder is sitting on back very high on top and you can use the original brackets.. no need for all those filament guides... (i've never used any of those and i've...

Re: Quality control
So I've been investigating this a little bit.. and while i encourage a critical view on this, I don't think all of your comments are fair LePaul.. I've seen 2 posts at the forum regarding quality control.. and they both make fair points. as a bit of background, I have 5 Ultimaker 3s in my possession...

Re: does anyone want to know stuff about the UM3?
Are you getting jams? i've had some weird jams with PVA, but that was more when i tried to combine it with unsupported materials and it filled up the front of the nozzle with different materials (picking it up from the prime tower). overall i am not unhappy. i think it's a very solid design and tru...

Re: does anyone want to know stuff about the UM3?
I'm curious about the results. At the show they had two running and both prints failed (sorry to mention!) I'm really curious how it handles large prints with support (like the ones I do often) so I have had mixed results. just to be open, I have ran an UM3 for 4 weeks now, and am running 2 UM3 Ext...

Re: PTFE coupler - Theory and practical details
Hello, I have had consistent issues with the couplers going bad after only a few prints with my Ultimaker 2. Even printing a lower temp does not prevent it from eventually causing under extrusion. I was wondering if you would be willing to share your blueprints for the metal coupler you made? I thi...

Re: PTFE coupler - Theory and practical details
happy to be here
i would definitely recommend one of those.. I don't have spare ones lying around.. currently in the process of upgrading my UM2s to Um2+'s..
official retailers should be able to have spare parts soon.. but it's worth it..

Re: PTFE coupler - Theory and practical details
