Re: How to make the NTC glue on ceramic heater more stable?

Did you try any high temperature epoxy resins? Most of them are good for temperatures of up to 180*C or 200*C but there are also more specialized variants for temperatures of 200-280*C or even 340*C. The problem might just be to get them in super small quantities if you only need it for one bed.

Re: Need Help Converting Sketchup File

I found a version of Sketchup Make 2017 in the meantime. This one was able to open the file and I could export it.

Re: Need Help Converting Sketchup File

Googling shows that maybe an export from Sketchup to the .dae (COLLADA) format might work too as FreeCAD can import this format and then export STEP.

[Resolved] Need Help Converting Sketchup File

Hi all, I have a file that seems to be from a Sketchup version 17.x that I can't open with my Sketchup Make 2015 version - the last free standalone version. Does anybody of you have access to a current Sketchup (Pro?) version that could convert this file to a format that I can use in Fusion 360 (STE...

Stringing and underextrusion problems

Hi all, my UM2 with Olson Block has developed a nasty issue in recent months: I have a combination of underextrusion and heavy stringing: 20211006_105325.jpg 20211006_105201.jpg I first thought the nozzle was clogged or had some residue inside but even with a brand new nozzle the issue still persist...

Re: Looking for help from experienced 3D printing guys

To add to @Lez0 comment: If you need more stability, you can also just use the 3D prints to perfect your CAD model and once it fits, have it manufactured from aluminium or steel on a CNC from your CAD model.

Re: Looking for help from experienced 3D printing guys

It is fairly easy to learn. I can recommend the Fusion 360 videos from Tyler Beck from Tech & Espresso, the Beginner Webinars and the Tech Thursday videos from Brad Tallis on the Autodesk Fusion 360 channel. That's the ones where I learned how to model for 3D printing with Fusion.

Re: Looking for help from experienced 3D printing guys

Hello! Welcome to the forum! The part in the JPEG Picture looks like a rendering out of some CAD software. So the easiest way would be to track down the source of the rendering. If that is not possible, I guess you need to start measuring the part and recreate it in a CAD software like Fusion 360. T...

It is still not working for whatever reason :-( I deleted 10 more today. All in Off-topics.
And I did not see any requests for moderation. It is unclear to me how they get in...

Re: New User Post Limit (Mods please read)

If you take a look at the Off-topics board, there are currently twelve posts that I deleted just in the last 5 hours... I did not delete them permanently in case you want to take look at them. Normally I use the "permanent" checkbox when I delete them.

Re: New User Post Limit (Mods please read)

Hi Paul,

I am not sure if the change worked as I still see spam posts from accounts with two or less posts.

Best regards,
Reiner

Hi @Roberts_Clif, I just had alook at the link you posted and couldn't find a mask_middle_v1.stl there. I found a "Scorpion_-_corona_respirator_-_filter_middle.stl" which seems to have a flat bottom and no supports needed and a "Scorpion_-_corona_respirator_-_mask.stl" which I te...

Re: Cleaning the Z axis threads?

Thanks for the advice @Roberts_Clif. I will give it a try. I thought about using Isopropanol first, but if WD40 works, then I go with that.
