Re: Polymaker Polywood filament

It's a small roll and we really want to make a Groot with it

I'm going to try a cooler temp, maybe 200 or even as low as 195

Polymaker Polywood filament

Well I am trying to dial this stuff in to print a bit nicer on my Ultimaker 2+

The instructions indicate it wants hotter...I printed at 210 and I probably should do 220.

It's the top of the print that makes me think hotter would not be ideal tho?

If we could make replacement organs, that would certainly be a game changer for so many with disease.

Matterhacker Pro Series PETG on an Ultimaker 2+

Anyone used it?

I was advised to use the CPE setting in Cura and on the Ultimaker control panel when loading it.

Just curious if anyone has used it, had some suggestions, fan settings, etc

Re: PLA Tempatures

Wow, so you've covered your bases. Your PLA really has that narrow of a temp range? I tend to do first layers at 210-215 which seems to be a little on the warm side for my Ultimaker or ColorFabb filaments (PLA) Layer two goes down to 205 (I do this manually since I can't seem to make Cura do it...S3...

Re: PLA Tempatures

I'd be curious what those temps register using one of those laser/infrared temperature readers.

Yeah the "ducking" effect which usually works well seemed to have failed. Next video will be better!

Re: Gudo - The humble man with great ideas

What a truly sad thing to hear.

We were all completely stunned and impressed at the work he had done.

I know @Neotko had some good collaborations/idea sharing with him as well. Much of that is documented here in the Forum.

My thoughts are with him and his family.

Re: Cura 3.4 is out

Ugh. First it complained about my pla profiles. Now it won't see my octoprint systems. Printer configs are there, Octoprint plugin is installed (although I don't see any indications for it other than it is listed as installed). Back to 3.2.1 I guess. Try downloading the Plugin again. They (Ultimake...

Re: Cura 3.4 is out

They fixed the Octoprint plug in...as for the rest...I wish they would make videos explaining the changes so we could see them in action.

The wall of text changelog isn't super helpful

Re: Hotend Heat Blocks

Yes, what @Chaco said. If you want to print a lot of volume (big nozzles...or as they say, print like toothpaste!)...those work well.
