Re: Please help me to fix this print.

The nozzle size looks unusual? I've never used a nozzle that small...I checked...they exist for super high detail, so that could be part of the problem? Actually, 0.4mm is the normal size for most printers (including all of yours, @LePaul). I know that...please, give me a break.... But what the fil...

Re: Please help me to fix this print.

I haven't heard of ASA material before. ApolloX is a professional high-performance engineering filament, which is based on an uniquely industrial-grade modified ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) compound. ApolloX has been modified to have great thermal stability, improved filament flowing behavio...

Re: HELP NEEDED: Leaking from the enclosure of the hot end!

Wow, how unfortunate. Where did you get the printer from? It looks like, once you get that mess cleaned up, you will want to disassemble the hot end and put it back together making sure everything is snug and secure. Clearly it wasn't the first time. OR...you could take the opportunity to replace th...

Re: Successful 1st ABS Print

I can tell you that as much as I would like to try ABS...I am now completely sold on the virtues of PETG. I'm having a terrific time with the very affordable Zyltech offerings.

Re: Polymaker Polymax

Didn't mean to hijack the thread with that... BUT...yes, I would like to try that brand since so many are having good results with it. (I'm using a lot of Zyltech PETG in my 1.75mm machines and really, really impressed with it. On my Ultimaker, I am trying to dial in ColorFabb HT and not having a lo...

Re: Polymaker Polymax

@LePaul , You tried Polymax too? I wanna see that flex, I'm testing Fillamentum 98A (semi-flex) and it's working good by now but I only print small/medium and easy stuffs, with not too much retractions. I got some good tips with 3DMN (noob) to keep same speed at the entire print, even the z-speed (...

Re: Polymaker Polywood filament

The one added detail I will add, while it is fresh in my mind...this filament could look under extruded in areas if the temp was too low. I found on one print, 197 was a tiny bit too low as I started to see tiny gaps. But nudge the temp to 200 and things looked better. This is one of those filaments...

Re: Has anyone used NinjaTek Cheetah?

I wonder if that's a newer feature from when I tried? I really wish Ultimaker did some tutorial videos or some expanded documentation on Cura (asides to PR releases when a new version is out) There's a lot tucked away in there and unless you are a really avid user, in it every day, the average perso...
