Okay, I'll look into getting an Octoprint and see what happens. 1) Where's the best place to buy an Octoprint kit? It seems like some of the recommended places on the Octo site are defunct. eBay seems to have some complete kits but they all say "2016" model"- is that the latest? 2) What is the USB ...

I can't say the recent builds have impressed me much....the settings are just a mess...I'm using Simplify 3D more and more these days

Many guys use the 12 x 12 mirror tiles....since if mirror is warped...you'll get a pretty wonky reflection!

I found it enormously distracting when trying to level and fine tune the bed. I switched to the polypropelene bed and an EZABL....so much easier

Cura's newer versions officially do not support USB printing.
I would suggest investing in a Raspiberry Pi and installing Octoprint. It's such a good program and you could always add a webcamera to monitor or create timelapses

I wonder if you have a bent coupler or lead screw...I encountered the z artifact on the new Geeetech A10 and once I had the lead screw out and rolled it on the table..it was clearly out of spec/bent. The coupler was a mess too.
