I'd suggest submitting that to the Cura Github, they answer pretty quickly. Be sure to give them all the details and files needed.

Re: CR-10S Bed heating part way-Thermal Runaway
Yeah the CR-10S is a 12 volt bed (stock). It looks like that machine has been modded a good deal. I noticed that firmware says "v2d2", did you make/compile that? There are many posts on reddit about CR-10S and modding them for 24v. It can be done. It just means anything 12v on that machine...

Re: CR-10S Bed heating part way-Thermal Runaway
Check your wires to see if they are loose. I recently had a CR-10S do this and sure enough, the power leads were pretty wiggly I would also check where the leads plug into the control board. Many China printers use tinned leads into the connection block, which isn't good and can even fail. I removed...

Re: My 3D printers
Definitely read up on the sensor-less homing, I know it can be a little bit of trial and error dialing it in.
Ed has a really great YouTube channel about all the settings for these boards.

I'm good! I've been working on my old Lulzbot Taz 6 lately, a few mods to make it relevant since it was "new" in 2017

Re: How many 3D printers do you have?
Yes, I know many a musician with oodles of guitars everywhere. AND...each one has a story. Makes me wonder what the piano guys do to cope with their hobby :) As to the 3D Touch - to me, its a matter of principal. I work in research and I know what goes into developing, fine tuning and marketing a pr...

Re: Lays down raft nicely, then balls of fuzz. Keeping it real
Hi I've been lax checking my own forum lately Just looking at that photo, it could be a few things, db. Re: printing problems
It looks like you are printing way too close to bed. If your firmware had it, I'd do the bed leveling wizard which moves the print head to each corner and you use a piece of paper to dial in the distance with each leveling knob. So that helps with physical leveling. After that, again, hopefully your...

Re: Printer broke itself
Is your z offset set correctly? I'm guessing either that or the filament isn't sticking to the bed. Make sure the bed is clean and free of finger prints
