Re: Profile Settings

Start small. Let's figure out the material. Is it PLA? PETG? Or?

Blobby material can be a few things. Moisture in the filament can cause this.

Chiron can be a frustrating machine, i have one and the stock hotends just jam up constantly.

Yes, temp tower and slicer flow settings can help a lot.

I'm not familiar with the European power system so I don't dare guess on that one
Maybe ask in one of the Ender Facebook groups?

Hi

Where are the boogers?

Re: New to forum, custom PC Case Questions

You'll want to consider a material that can handle the heat the computer case will generate. PLA goes soft at 60C PETG fares better but this might be a job for ABS If you can break the model down into sections, it would be more manageable for sure. Many people create large builds and print them in m...

I have 2 FT-5 R1's and 1 FT-6

I think some of the people in the FB group upgraded to the Zylech rails. Mine seem like they are always full of orange gunk when I clean them

Re: Which 3D Printer and Software Should I Buy?

Free is a great way to start. Cura has some Pros and Cons. The Pro is - it is updated often. The Con - It is updated often! So, it can sometimes be challenging to find documentation of tech tips on the new features and other changes. CHEP, on YouTube, does a good job demonstrating new features and h...

Oh yeah, that'll do it

I know I do an auto pid on my hot end and bed. I also print via Octoprint so that gives me a good graph showing the temp accuracy during the print
