Re: CR-10 Smart Pro, experiences?
Hi Mike, Creality comes up with a new machine every three months, it seems. I'd check the YouTube reviews for starters The other thing I would mention is consider safety. An enclosure would be a good investment plus considering fire safety. Not to scare you away but a good read is here - https://3dp...

Re: Stringing (huge problem)
Did you do the slicer flow settings by printing some test cubes?

Re: Stringing (huge problem)
A few things to check -
1) The Chiron hot end is notoriously bad... I have one.
2) Make sure the filament is dry
3) esteps, temp tower , slicer flow settings and then retraction settings
A great resource - https://teachingtechyt.github.io/calibration.html

Re: Sidewinder Z-Axis dress up and useful test print
Random thought I wanted to share....
I have a machine that has the same sized X axis gantry. I'm trying to find a replacement carriage so I can put a quality hot end on that machine. I think I can use the Artillery sidewinder x carriage.... or even the Sovol ones.

Re: Profile Settings
Start small. Let's figure out the material. Is it PLA? PETG? Or?
Blobby material can be a few things. Moisture in the filament can cause this.
Chiron can be a frustrating machine, i have one and the stock hotends just jam up constantly.

Yes, temp tower and slicer flow settings can help a lot.
