Re: Problem with surface finish

I think that's Combing and Cura should give you an option of something like "Not on top" or the like

Re: UM2 and IRobertI feeder - filament snaps behind bearing

How annoying

I didn't go that route, i did the [expensive] UM2+ extruder upgrade. That's worked very well.

Re: UM2 Heater Blocks

Good question....I wondered about upgrades to my UM2+ With so many out there, I was curious if someone offered some hot end upgrades or even a board upgrade to utilize better drivers (i.e. no Salmon Skin effect)

Re: ColorFabb_HT Filament

Well that's totally up to the consumer....I didn't look far and high for something that could withstand 100C. I know ColorFabb makes good stuff and supports what they sell. I went back and forth with their support to fine tune my settings. I'm not sure another filament maker would do that

Summer went quick!
Then the fall colds hit quick over here!

With the new job and all my travels, I haven't done much to my own printers lately...asides print!

And speaking of...I'm off to Tampa next week for the Boat Builder show. We're doing a presentation on 3D printing!

Spammers come and go...

Looks like a we had a brief uptick in spammers/spam posts Like all social media/web forums platforms, it's a constant battle. I'll forever be baffled why the spammers do their thing....I can't imagine people really fall for their antics and profit? But from time to time, a couple make it through and...

Re: Skipping Y Axis at intersections

That's a great question. Mine is having some weird issues as well, mostly along Z Side note...print slower. Most of my prints are on the larger side, on my bigger prints. I'd rather print slower and wait longer for a great results.....versus push my printer (made from the cheapest stuff China could ...
