I simply melt the 3d printed part with a hot gun. It stays as strong as the original.

Make sure the teflon inside the hotend is pushed all the way down so it has no gaps between it and the brass nozzle. The stepper toothed wheel is moving but the mechanical counter gear is not moving. This typical issue comes from the fact that your filament is getting blocked quickly at the nozzle end. try the following remedies . 1. I would recommend using a simple WD40 spray or 3M lubricant spray to clean the nozzle. It is a deadly way of wiping all your filament extrusion issues.
