Re: Bad Hello I have a broken HICTOP X-axis Belt Clamp

I started my first Print in 2 years thanks to Xayoz posting of the STL file that misplaced.. www.printables.com/model/317026-improved-hictop-i3-x-belt-holder Am using for my 1st 3D Printing project Cura 15.04.6 as the print specs stated that the...

Re: Bad Hello I have a broken HICTOP X-axis Belt Clamp

I 3D Printed a few repair parts for my Hictop 3DP11/12 Printers photos shown below
Repair Parts.jpg
Not bad for years old filament that was left in a plastic box in a non heated / cooled garage for almost 2 years.

I swear by this moisture eliminator I purchased at the local dollar store.

Re: Have a problem, need some ideas on how to fix

That is a very good response Le Paul. My Raspberry Pi 2's were replaced with Raspberry Pi 3's at this time. I was using the USB 3 ports for camera's. Then I only took one photo at the end of each layer, showing a layer by layer still frame video when played back. This means at the End of each layer ...

Re: Have a problem, need some ideas on how to fix

Oh yes I have posted a texture difference when using Octoprint > Octolapse recording feature results below
SD vs OctoLapse 1.jpg
The above image shows a part printed using Octoprint > Octolapse Part on left that, the print on the right was 3D Printed without octolapse > Octoprint.

My 3D printers

I have been without my 3D Printers for about 2 years now. Why the home I was living in had no room for them!!! Finally I have made room and look like the home they were in caused a little damage. Need to 3D Print some broken parts, and give them all some extra careful maintenance inspections. Then I...

Re: Which config.h file to use?

BOTH configuration.h, configuration_adv.h are needed though configuration_adv.h have a lot of options that in simple mode work with default. Most popular 3D Printers have a starting Marlin configuration.h that will supervise until you learn to configure you own custom config. What 3D Printer are you...

Re: Extruder Crushes Part

I had this problem on my Hictop, as i believe that the display cables were too long. Solved the problem by shielding the cables leading to the Display and created a 3D Printed shielded controller cover. I used Aluminum Foil Tape to line the 3D Printed case and connected a ground wire to the foil at ...
