Re: Successful 1st ABS Print

After printing the PLA at such high temperatures the room stunk of the fumes even with the vent fans running. So I took my Ionic Breeze turned it on full, withing a few minutes the fumes were gone. It sounded like a smoke eater as it cleaned the pollution out of the room. This means my environmental...

Re: Successful 1st ABS Print

I resisted the suggestion to use that stuff. But I've become a convert...I really liked the diluted wood glue method but the idea of a few short sprays and you're good to go has proved to work very well for me Thought about using yellow wood glue but could not find where anyone had used it. so deci...

Re: My Top 4...at this point...!

I cannot print the entire Z-Axis height as my new Z-Axis Proximity sensor Mount and and the Cable chain limits me now to about 185mm.

As not to crash into the new hardware I have changed the Z-Axis setting in configuration.h to

Re: creality CR 10 different types/software?

Hictop, while like most Chinese companies tend to cut corners and go for cheap, have at least stood behind their products. I don't know what their relationship is to Creality (I think they are subsidiaries of some parent company), but they have been reliable. I don't know either But they are both o...

Re: My Top 4...at this point...!

It is really surprising and annoying that when you see a "professional review" of a large printer they only print small items! I just want to know what the printer is like printing a large part. Lez I agree! I can print small Items on any 3D Printer, In fact my Small 3D Printer has a 270 x 220 x 19...
