Re: elephant foot, leveling bed, zsteps
What material are you printing, what adhesion are you using and what is the thickness of your 1st level, and the 1st layer speed? Hi Izzy, I am using ABS, my Bed Temp is 95-100, Extrude Temp 245 I'm using LULZBOT PEI Sheet, which I've had no issues with before. Primary Layer H - 0.1200 http://www.3...

Re: elephant foot, leveling bed, zsteps
Hey all,
Hope you don't mind me jumping in on this.
But I've finally got my printer working, but for some reason.
The Skirt / Brim isn't add-hearing to the bed, the main part is but that is leaving me with a mess to clear before the print starts.
Anyone have any clues??

3Ds Max or MAYA
So I use both 3Ds Max and Maya to create and design models etc.
But I seem to be having an issue with Max output models in OBJ but not in Maya.
Do anyone else use Max OBJ? if so how you setting up your model and then exporting?
Are you using STL or OBJ?
Thanks
Stu

Re: Uploading/flashing Marlin to your Hic i3 (or other)
Hi rokhdrone1uk, Great to read that it is working now. I am waiting for mine to be delivered impatiently. I have read many articles and went to the conclusion that I will go for a dual fan system, remove the motor from the x-carriage and place it on the right vertical axe. http://www.thingiverse.co...

Re: HIC i3 - current firmware development information
Does moving the x-axis via the LCD result in the same movement ( (+) = Left; (-) = Right)? If so, your stepper pins are backwards. Either swap them manually (preferred) or change the setting in Marlin: #define INVERT_X_DIR true If it is only occurring in Simplify3d, check your settings and see what...

#define TEMP_SENSOR_BED 0
To
#define TEMP_SENSOR_BED 3
If you have a factory bed & sensor, I think.
