Re: slicing under a angle for normal printers

Hey, Still a state of affairs, So far I have not found any software that can slice at an angle and then give three coordinates. Printing my hollow box goes back into the refrigerator until I have built a belt printer. I've done some sugestions but I can't program it myself so I hope it will be picke...

Re: slicing under a angle for normal printers

I just did a test with tilt and extrude at the same time and the printer just does this. So I just have to find a slicer that can cut at an angle and add three coordinates. I'm going to throw a fish at the guys from slic3er I think ...

Re: slicing under a angle for normal printers

in another video I saw that the head has a 5-axis steering.
So the slicer settings of that machine is maybe not the right one, my relatively small cr10 does not fit a rotating head ....

Re: slicing under a angle for normal printers

I had see the first link, but they have also no XYZ 90°/90°/90°, more a xy 90°/90° and Z=45° I have looked at the black belt frome cura, but I fear it is only possible for the black belt you really need a machine where the Z is 45 ° or more tilted. It is just not possible on my cr10 I just tilt only...

Built up like with the black belt printer but then printed with a normal printer. So I want to build up at an angle of 45 ° in the air, just like UMaine did when printi...

Re: Which Large 3d Printer?

I have the cr10 max, quite satisfied. leveling with a bltouch v3, filament sensor and 450x450, so large. Disadvantages, in the tuning no flow setting only temperature and speed. max 250 ° / 110 °, abs are good but not higher. you also have to replace the firmware if you place a different printhead, ...
